Woodborough Safari Street Market   Sunday August 16th 2020

It’s always daunting when you try something new… so Sophie Hopkin and I are thrilled to announce that the Safari Street Market was a fabulous success… despite the weather!

We have made over £1,000 and this money will all be donated to the local service centre of the NSPCC in Nottingham.

We had 30 stalls around the village on people’s drives, with a handful in the Four Bells Car Park. I never left my garage but I am reliably informed that there was a lovely buzz around the village.

The stalls were an eclectic mix of pre-loved items clothes and toys, bric a brac, honey, cakes, gin, plants, beauty items, numerous crafts and, of course, the wonderful Alpacas… at two different locations.

We thank each and everyone of the stallholders for their support and for the many additional donations they have made on top of their £10 stall fee.

The feedback has been fantastic and we look forward to further activities, hopefully in conjunction with the community association.

Thank you again

Lynne and Sophie
